Dr.KofiMbiah graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon, in 1980 with a Bachelor of Laws degree, LL.B and in 1982 he became a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana after obtaining his Barrister at Law certificate B.L., from the Ghana School of Law in 1982.

Kate Lannan is an international lawyer who was the Secretary of the UNCITRAL Working Group on Transport Law, which prepared the text of the Rotterdam Rules prior to the Convention’s adoption by the United Nations General Assembly. Ms Lannan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, and has law degrees from McGill University and the University of Ottawa. She was in private practice with the litigation team of a commercial law firm in Toronto, Ontario before serving as a member of the Canadian diplomatic corps.
She has worked with inter-governmental organisationsin the areas of public and private international law since 1998, and is a member of the bars of the Province of Ontario, Canada, the State of New York and Washington DC.
